2018 Isabella Francesca Malbec Petite Verdot

This unique vineyard is planted in a long strip within the California Delta town of Brentwood and features hot days and cool, breezy nights with the San Francisco Bay lying just to the north. The well- draining, rich sandy loam soil produced perfectly ripe Malbec and Petite Verdot grapes that were hand- picked and aged in a combination of French and Italian coopered oak. This luscious unique blend shows blackberries, violets, ripe currants with essences of black pepper, ripe black olive, and creamy blueberry.
