This blend from Sonoma County and Contra Costa County honors our founder Kent Rosenblum. Kent sought these appellations for the depth of structure the grapes achieved from the warm days and cool nights allowing them to hang and fully ripen. This blend of Petite Sirah was aged in American and French barrels to soften and round the tannins while adding toasted oak notes. Rich aromatics of spices plums, and blackberries combine with hints of black tea that flow into a complex tannin structure that can be aged for years or enjoyed now.
