This Hames Valley full-bodied dazzler has brambly black and blueberry fruit aromas, tobacco spices and violet florals.

  • Vintage: 2021
  • Varietal: Petite Sirah
  • Appellation: Monterey County
  • Alcohol: 14.1%

On the nose and palate, brambly black and blueberry fruit aromas, tobacco spices and violet florals. Full-bodied and lush, with peppery plum fruits, and firm tannins. A hint of black tea and chocolate rounds out this dazzler. Petite Sirah flourishes in the Hames Valley, producing a dry wine with high tannins and medium acidity.

Monterey County

Hames Valley is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) located in Monterey County, CA, and is part of the largest Monterey AVA. Due to its location at the southern end of the Salinas Valley, the warmer climate makes it an exceptional place to cultivate grapes while sheltering the vines from the Pacific Ocean winds. The loam soil enables grapes to grow with intense, bold flavors.

    Michael’s Petite Sirah

This wine was very good. Nice dark color and it was very smooth. I would recommend this wine for anyone that likes Petite Sirah.
